Overview of MyNiño

MyNiño Application is developed with an objective of tracking a child using Smart phones. MyNiño is a cross platform friendly application i.e. Parent and Child Applications can be on different Smart Phones Platforms like Android, BlackBerry®, iPhone, Windows, Symbian or J2ME.

MyNiño Application tracks your child’s Calls, SMS (both incoming and outgoing) and Location using GPS remotely. The application once configured correctly sends the Child’s SMS, Call and Current Location details to the Parent’s Smart Phone over a web server. It even gives alerts to the parent if the child’s location is not traceable via GPS for a certain period of time.

The Application has two versions:

Parent Application:
Parent application needs to be installed in the Parent’s Smart Phones and it receives the reports from the child application via the web server over GPRS or Wifi connection. The Parent Application needs to be configured first before installing a Child Application.

Child Application:
Child application needs to be installed in the Child’s Smart Phone and it sends the Call and SMS (both incoming and outgoing) reports to the parent application via the web server over GPRS or Wifi connection. The Child Application is masked; password protected and runs in background.
